What Hockey Equipment You Should or Shouldn’t Be Spending Your Money On.

Playing Hockey is quite the pricy investment already, so making sure you spend your money on the best equipment possible is a must. Today I’m going to let you know the Top 5 must haves and must nots of hockey equipment.

Starting at a #1 must have would have to be the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite stick, now this stick is a whopping 300 dollars but to say you get your moneys worth would be an understatement. This stick is a light weight, balanced, high performance stick perfect for any forward or defense men.

Now at #2 this is a stick you should steer far from, this being the Warrior Dolomite DD 2011. This Warrior stick being one of the worst reviews stick around only making a 1 star review on every site it is on, this is because the blade of the stick resembles a cardboard texture and starts to shred very easily.

Moving on to #3 my personal favorite skates in the game earning an overall 5 start review on almost every hockey site would have to be the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite skates not only are these incredible to skate in but they are super fast and lightweight on your feet. Now these skates are pretty expensive running from 950-1100 dollars, although these skates are coming in top place right now an much more affordable skate the does the job perfect is the Bauer Vapor 3.7x skates these are great skates that are only around 180 in all.

Going back down to the not so great end of hockey equipment raining in at #4 is the Cooper XL7 hockey helmet, in my and many others opinion this helmet should never have been made you are in much more luck buying a Bauer or CCM helmet for much better quality.

Now this next item is for my goalies out there, padding can be a tough thing to get just right but my #5 item on this list are the Lefevre L20.1 goalie pads, these are top of the line ranked #1 goalie pads out there because of there stiffness, they have a great rebound pop, fast rotation system, and great ankle mobility. These pads are 1,700 dollars but are the best in the league.
